Motorcyclist for more than 20 years, and I have always considered motorcycling as a therapy. A therapy that has evolved over time: Simply by getting on a motorbike and riding more or less close or far; considering the motorbike as a generator of strong sensations on tracks. Finally, I am passionate about off-roading which combines the two previous ones.

My bike #2 – KTM 690 Enduro R – Rally
Do I really need to present you the KTM 690 Enduro R???
This is an amazing bike, and I was blessed to be able to test it for a long time before purchasing it. Back at that time, I had my Multistrada v4S, and even though I was using it for some off-road sessions, at some point, I felt the weight (and I’m a big guy).
When my friend proposed to test it, first I was curious and quite reluctant to be seen driving a KTM; I found it (and I still do) ugly in that orange colour; but f***, that bike is a beast. It’s so efficient off-road, and it seems like nothing can stop it. For me, I landed on another planet.
A great thing about being able to switch between a heavy bike and the KTM 690 Enduro R, I was able to improve my driving skills very quickly. And that made me by it.
What did I changed?
You know the stock version of the bike, which is really great but I wanted something different. I installed the Carbon Fox KTM 690 ENDURO R RALLY CARBON KIT. It gives a great look to the bike, but the downsize would make the bike is now obviously Rally oriented and less agile on single tracks.

My bike #1 – Ducati Desert X
OK, I admit it from the very beginning, I’m Ducati addicted. For good or for bad reasons, I let you judge, but I have it in my blood.
I started with Ducati Streetfighter 848, and then these followed: Panigale 1199, Panigale 1299, Multistrada 1200S DVT, Multistrada v4S. And now the latest one is Ducati Desert X.
So, what’s wrong with me and why so many bikes. I guess there is one bike for every stage of my life: commodity transportation, extreme sport & adrenaline, sharing my passion with my wife (travelling together) and then the last one adventure and off-road.
So when Ducati announced the Desert X, I was thrilled, excited and thorn because I didn’t want to switch from my Multistrada v4s. On the other hand, I wanted so badly to have that Ducati with 21″ front wheel, that finally, I decided to order it without even testing it.
And what a surprise when I first sit on it and took it out for a ride. Every bike is personal, and the feedback I can give will be full of my emotions and based on what I expect to do with it and not. So basically, I’m so happy with this bike, even though it’s not perfect.
How I’ll be using this bike?
That’s a tough question. First I’ll be using this bike for off-road adventure trips. The bike is big enough and comfortable to travel on long distances. At the same time, it allows you to take more extreme roads and be confident to handle harder landscape.
Secondly, and even though the bike is considered heavy, I really want to use it in more difficult situations and more Enduro situations. Wait and see! As I’m writing this, I didn’t have yet opportunity to organize the such weekend.

Cancelling my orders!
I’m CANCELLING my orders of additional kits for my Ducati DesertX. I ordered them at the same time as my bike, and 3 months after bike delivery, I haven’t received them yet.
